At present, EMOTA runs three working groups:

Legal Affairs Committee

The EMOTA Legal Affairs Committee is preparing EMOTA’s responses.to regulatory and other initiatives of the European.institutions. Committee members meet regularly to coordinate national comments and discuss market trends and deveopments.

Strategy Committee

The EMOTA Strategy Committee is focussing on current and future strategic e-commerce issues and providing advice to the Board of Directors. It meets regularly to evaluate EMOTA's strategic position, taking into account the fast developments on the digital markets and in the legal environment of e-commerce.

Statistics Committee

The EMOTA Statistics Committee is focusing on identifying needed research in the field of e-commerce and encourages the agreement on a Europe-wide set of definitions for the measurement and monitoring of business-to-consumer online trade.
